In celebration of our third consecutive year achieving RCI Gold Crown Resort status, we threw a party in appreciation of the people who made it happen: our fantastic employees. More than anyone else, they are responsible for us once again earning the most prestigious designation in the vacation ownership industry.
Employees from every department gathered at the Island Courtyard today and feasted on a catered lunch buffet from Memphis Championship Barbecue, enjoyed music from our resident spin doctor DJ Brit Lee, and participated in contests for the opportunity to win food and entertainment gift certificates.
“I am so grateful,” said front desk clerk Maria Sanchez, who won a $25 gift certificate to Regal Cinemas. “Thank you so much.”
“This is a small token of our appreciation for you guys doing a great job,” Tahiti Village general manager Mike Rounds told the assembled. “I am proud to work with all of you.”
Achieving the coveted RCI Gold Crown Resort designation is dependent almost exclusively on RCI member feedback through post-departure surveys. RCI visitors are asked to rate their experience on a 1 to 5 scale in check-in/checkout, resort hospitality, resort maintenance, unit housekeeping and unit maintenance.
The fact we have been able to consistently earn high marks is testament to the pride and work ethic of our employees, and we sincerely thank them for their efforts in helping us maintain our status not only as a preferred RCI property but also a place you can be proud to call your home resort.
