Τhe annual Easter egg grab, the most anticipated event on our spring activity calendar, attracted upwards of 200 youngsters this past Saturday to the Lazy River, where they filled waiting baskets with plastic candy-filled eggs. The colorful bounty was hidden under lounge chairs and in the lush green foliage of the hunting grounds. The latter proved no impediment whatsoever to these ravenous collectors, who waded into the thick jungle to gather the treasure. The eggs, according to Tahiti Village activities manager Britny Flores, contained such Easter candy as Sweet Tarts, Starburst and Nerds. No wonder they were in such demand. The event ended with challenging prize contests and a raffle for Easter baskets and gift certificates to Tahiti Joe’s. It was a great conclusion to a fun day for the kids and their parents.
