When tourists think of Las Vegas, the first thing that comes to mind may not necessarily be “family friendly.” However, behind the allure of casinos, nightclubs and adult reviews, there is actually quite a lot to experience in Las Vegas that is suitable for the whole family. Here are a few to consider during your next trip.
Springs Preserve
Springs Preserve is a 180-acre, indoor/outdoor compound that exhibits the city’s rich history with lush natural landscapes, animal exhibits and interactive science displays. The facility has recurring events and classes that are fun and educational for all members of the family – including dog walks, holiday-themed events and children’s story time.

Pinball Hall of Fame
Located just moments away from the Strip, The Pinball Hall of Fame is an interactive museum that boasts a wide array of classic and modern arcade games. As the name suggests, the space inside The Pinball Hall of Fame is predominantly occupied with pinball machines, but there are also retro arcade games such as Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man and Galaxian. The facility first opened in 2006 and is constantly acquiring and restoring new equipment to give visitors a new experience during each visit and trip down memory lane.
Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the feeling of freefalling, but without the planes, heights and parachutes, then Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving has you covered. A Vertical Wind Tunnel is set inside of a room with padded walls and a mesh, trampoline-like floor. The velocity from the upwind in the tunnel is enough to lift the average adult to experience a comparable feeling to skydiving. This safe environment is a great spot for all ages that is easy enough for beginners, but offers experienced flyers the opportunity to perform flips and tricks. When it was built in 1982, it was the first indoor skydiving facility in the United States.

Pole Position Raceway
While go-kart racing isn’t unique to Las Vegas, few facilities around the country offer the level of racing experience that Pole Position Raceway does. A national brand, Pole Position Raceway offers two locations in Las Vegas with equal amounts of fun and adrenaline for the family. In addition to the popular “Arrive & Drive,” Pole Position offers driving classes, youth camps and competitions such as Ironman and Elimination. Pole Position is a great family option due to their availability of higher-powered go-karts specifically for adults, so parents can enjoy the same level of excitement as the little ones.
