Tahiti Village is the first LV resort to get a Nissan Electric Vehicle Charging Station, leaving others green with envy
We are pleased to announce Tahiti Village is now one of two locations in Las Vegas – and the only resort property – to offer a Nissan Electric Vehicle Charging Station. Installation began last week, and the station will soon be ready for use. It is on the second floor of the parking garage next to the elevators.
All electric vehicles can “fill up” at the double-sided charging station, not just the Leaf, Nissan’s five-door hatchback. It takes about 30 minutes to fully charge an empty battery. The range of electric vehicles is approximately 90 miles, which will put you within walking distance of the World’s Tallest Thermometer in Baker.
Electric car owners pay for charging with an RFID card that they hold over the station’s read symbol. Nissan Leaf owners can use the station – how’s this for irony? – at no charge.
