Take some tanning tips to keep from getting toasted!

As a Tahiti Village timeshare owner, you know Las Vegas in summer heats up like a nuclear reactor on the fritz. So with temperatures expected to climb to near record levels early next week, now is a good  time to review some common sense tanning tips if you’re on property or soon will be and planning to lay out by our tropical beach pool or lazy river. Take the following precautionary measures to ensure you don’t get toasted!

Use sunscreen

The most obvious. Apply a sunscreen with enough SPF to keep you from burning but not so much as to prevent you from tanning.

Know when – and when not – to tan.

Avoid outdoor tanning between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun is at its hottest.

Know your limits

To avoid the risk of skin cancer caused by overexposure to the sun, it is best to limit your tanning time to two hours. It can be helpful to use a timer when you’re tanning outside in the event you fall asleep.

Protect your eyes

Always wear sunglasses with UV protection to prevent the sun’s damaging rays from burning holes in your corneas.

The best way to cook

When you think about it, sunbathing humans aren’t too terribly different than a pig on a spit. For best results, the slow rotation method is advisable for even tanning.

Enjoy your summer!

Vacation ownership at Tahiti Village now an even greater value

An increase in lodging rates in 2015 – up more than 18 percent over the previous year owing to a rise in travel frequency – now more than ever underscores the value of vacation ownership.

Consistency of cost is a timeshare hallmark, and while hotel room pricing rose to an average of $102.64 per night in 2015 from $86.55 in 2014, your vacation club remained unaffected by market trends and subsequent supply and demand economics.

Ownership means you are never subject to the unpredictable pricing practices of opportunistic Las Vegas hotels, whose rates rise exorbitantly with each UFC event, mega boxing match or New Year’s Eve weekend.

Conversely, the cost of timeshare ownership remains steady and affordable, with property upkeep through the responsible application of maintenance fees the primary objective – not the wringing of every last dime out of the consumer.

As you’ve discovered, timeshare ownership at Tahiti Village is a great bet, and as we celebrate our 10 anniversary this year, we are humbled and honored to count you among our thousands of vacation club members. We take seriously our responsibility to provide you with a beautifully maintained property and look forward to helping you make wonderful vacation memories year after year.

Tahiti Village Facebook page receives its 100,000th “Like”

Positive affirmations are like gold in social media, and we struck it big when our Tahiti Village Facebook page recently received its 100,000th like. We would never have believed it when we launched in December 2013 or even as recently as September 2014, when we got just our 5,000th. The fact we have achieved 100,000 likes in just over two years is a testament to the efforts of our staff, the enthusiasm of our fans, and above all the influence of social media. As we rocket past 100,000 on the way to what we hope will be many more, we thank all our valued owners for taking the time to visit our Facebook page and click “Like.”
