Indulge in Exceptional Dining Experiences and Support a Good Cause: Las Vegas Restaurant Week

Every year, food enthusiasts and philanthropists gather in Las Vegas for an extraordinary culinary event – Las Vegas Restaurant Week by Three Square. This 12-day annual event, held every spring, offers a unique opportunity to enjoy delectable meals while supporting a noble cause. Not only do you get to indulge in exceptional dining experiences, but each meal’s cost from participating restaurants directly benefits Three Square Food Bank, helping combat food insecurity among Southern Nevadans. So, let’s dive into the details of this remarkable event and discover the amazing dining options available.

Three Square Food Bank is a prominent organization in Las Vegas that works tirelessly to provide food assistance to individuals and families in need. Their commitment to fighting hunger in the community is commendable, and Las Vegas Restaurant Week is one of their initiatives to raise funds and awareness for their cause. By dining at participating restaurants during this event, you contribute to the efforts of Three Square and make a direct impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity.

During Las Vegas Restaurant Week, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a variety of dining options. While the participating restaurants may change from year to year, you can always expect a diverse selection of cuisines, from fine dining establishments to casual eateries. This culinary extravaganza allows you to indulge in the city’s culinary delights at a discounted price, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to Three Square Food Bank.

While enjoying the remarkable dining experiences offered during Las Vegas Restaurant Week, you can also discover the tropical ambiance of Tahiti Village Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, NV. This exquisite resort is a perfect retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. As you explore the resort, you’ll find two on-property restaurants that add to the overall experience.

One of the restaurants at Tahiti Village Resort & Spa is 17° South Booze & Bites. This unique dining venue captures the serene and adventurous spirit of Tahiti’s tropical island life. The menu at 17° South offers a tantalizing array of food options, with influences from Polynesian and Pacific Rim cuisines. From mouthwatering seafood dishes to flavorful tropical cocktails, every bite and sip will transport you to a paradise-like dining experience. And while you savor the delightful flavors, you can also enjoy the live entertainment that complements the vibrant atmosphere.

Another delightful dining option at Tahiti Village Resort & Spa is Arturo’s Village Pizza. While not a participant in Las Vegas Restaurant Week, Arturo’s Village Pizza emphasizes the significance of supporting local restaurants and giving back to the community. Here, you can savor authentic Brooklyn-style pizza crafted with passion and expertise. What sets Arturo’s Village Pizza apart is their unique double stack concept, allowing you to relish the portability and pliability of two slices of pizza simultaneously. It’s a fun and delicious way to enjoy this beloved comfort food.

Las Vegas Restaurant Week is not just about enjoying exquisite meals and discovering new culinary experiences. It’s an opportunity to contribute to the community and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. By participating in this annual event, you join the fight against food insecurity in Southern Nevada and support the ongoing efforts of Three Square Food Bank.

So mark your calendars and prepare your taste buds for Las Vegas Restaurant Week by Three Square. Experience the culinary wonders of Las Vegas, support local restaurants, and give back to the community. Together, we can make a difference and help combat hunger one meal at a time.

Sing along to the Lazy River song!

One of our most popular attractions at family friendly Tahiti Village Resort & Spa is the lazy river. Featuring a scenic palm tree island and four waterfall features at fixed points along its route, the 185,000-gallon lazy river is an eighth-of-a-mile of pure floating pleasure. Just how popular is it? It’s so popular that it inspired at least one person to write a song and post the performance to YouTube. We think it’s a great song, if we do say so ourselves, and are pleased to present it below for your viewing and listening pleasure.

Chillin’ to the max!

Arturo’s Village Pizza is coming to Tahiti Village!

Lots of people think of our tropical resort paradise as a little slice of heaven. Beginning this summer, with the anticipated grand opening of our new Arturo’s Village Pizza, they’ll be eating a little slice of heaven.

Construction is set to begin in early February on the pizzeria, which will be located on the first floor of the Tahiti Village lobby building.  Thematically, Arturo’s Village Pizza will project a casual, New York City-style vibe. Visitors can either eat in or grab and go. The main entrance will be located outside the main lobby building opposite 17˚ South Booze & Bites, our onsite bar and restaurant. There will also be an exterior patio entrance near Tower 1 on the north side of the property.

“People can expect the pizza in Arturo’s Pizzeria to have the highest quality ingredients,” said Chad Nelson, Tahiti Village Director Food and Beverage. “We are excited to use the best cheeses, dough, and ingredients to create an amazing product. Arturo’s will be a great addition to our resort and will round out our food and beverage amenities available to our guests at Tahiti Village.”

Arturo’s sauce will be made in-house daily and includes San Marzano tomato, garlic, herbs, and Grana Padano cheese. Visitors can choose from five different pizzas on the menu and two prepared salads. Pizza can be ordered by the slice or by the full pie.

The renderings below are a representation of what you can expect, but is subject to change. We at family friendly Tahiti Village Resort & Spa on the south end of the world famous Las Vegas Strip are excited to bring this project to fruition and will communicate our progress over the course of the construction.

Take a bite out of summer with a visit to Tahiti Village, Las Vegas’ favorite tropical resort paradise! Dining in Las Vegas never tasted better.

NFL Draft is coming to Vegas. Book your Tahiti Village hotel room now!

With the conclusion of the Big Game we can now turn our football attention to the NFL Draft, which, like the former Raiders of Oakland, is coming to Las Vegas in 2020.

More than 400,000 people are expected in town April 23-25 to witness the annual rite of passage for college players into the pros. If you’re planning to be among the nearly half million visitors in attendance, please consider that there are 150,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas. So unless you have Vegas friends with a spare room or couch, it is therefore advisable to book your Tahiti Village Resort & Spa visit now or risk getting locked out of all the fun.

Don’t wait. Book a visit to spacious, family friendly Tahiti Village today and ensure you’ll have comfortable accommodations for the NFL draft.

If you’ve never been to Tahiti Village, you simply must experience a getaway to Las Vegas’ tropical resort retreat. Featuring a sand-entry beach pool, lazy river, condo-style accommodations, two 24-hour hot tubs, an onsite restaurant and spa, and shuttle service to the Strip, Tahiti Village has everything you need to relax, unwind and get away from it all. In-room amenities in larger one-bedroom and two-bedroom units include a fully stocked kitchen, washer-dryer, jetted tub, steam shower and private balcony for your convenience and enjoyment.

Tahiti Village Resort & Spa, Las Vegas’ favorite tropical resort paradise, was recently voted Best Family Friendly Resort and Best Family Friendly Pool in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s annujal Best of Las Vegas contest.

According to news reports, the NFL Draft will be worthy of a Las Vegas production. Draft prospects will be ferried by boat to a stage at the Fountains of Bellagio and introduced one by one.

The celebration — at the NFL Draft red carpet, main stage and NFL Draft Experience — will include immersive activities, live entertainment and performances, the league said. All events are free and open to the public.

The main stage will be next to the Caesars Forum conference center, where fans can watch the draft selections. The Las Vegas Raiders – how does that sound? – have seven picks in the draft, including picks No. 12 and 19 in the first round and five in the initial three rounds. This is the NFL as only Las Vegas can do it!

How to bet the Big Game in Las Vegas

The biggest sporting event of the year is upon us.

For fans of the two teams playing for the championship of professional football on Feb. 2, the Big Game is a culmination of a season’s or lifetime’s worth of devotion. Hopes and dreams of vicarious glory are fulfilled or dashed depending on which side of the scoreboard your rooting interest falls.

For everyone else, it’s all about the money.

The Big Game is the most heavily wagered sporting contest in the nation if not the world; people come to Las Vegas from all over to lay down their cash and hope for a bountiful return on investment. While bets on the point spread, money line and over/under commonly cross the sportsbook window, over the years prop bets have gained in popularity among the (especially low stakes) wagering public.

The appeal of prop bets lies in their ubiquity and quirky character. Bettors can wager on hundreds of propositions ranging from the game-centric (which team or player will score first?) to the exotic (will the national anthem take more or less than two minutes?). Please click here to see a comprehensive list of prop bets for this year’s Big Game.

What follows are some of our favorites (and some we would like to see offered). If you’re fuzzy on sports betting terminology and wondering what the plus and minus figures are, they are the money line totals. For instance, plus 300 means you have to bet $100 to win $300 (or $10 to win $30). Minus $500 means you have to bet $500 to win $100 (or $50 to win $10).

OUR FAVORITE BIG GAME PROP BETS

Will the coin toss be heads or tails?

Get your betting day off to a great start with a proposition that gives you a 50-50 chance of success.
Yes (Even)
No (Even)

Will the singer of the national anthem forget or omit a word?

In other words, will 28-year-old Demi Lovato have a senior moment in front 80,000 people at the game and millions around the world watching on television and streaming devices?
Yes (+300)
No (-500)

Jersey number of the first player to score a touchdown.

The two numerals before the decimal point in the 31.5 over-under figure below indicate a player number. Taking the over means you’re betting that a player wearing a jersey number higher than 31 scores the first touchdown. Taking the under means you’re betting that a player wearing jersey number 31 or less than 31 scores the first touchdown. The arbitrarily chosen figure comes at a steep price: The San Francisco player who wears No. 31, running back Raheem Mostert, is a touchdown machine who crossed the goal line four times in his last game.
Over 31.5 (+140)
Under 31.5 (-400)

Will both teams score in all four quarters?

A yes means you think the 49ers and Chiefs will score a touchdown, field goal or safety in every quarter. Even with offenses as explosive as Kansas City and San Francisco’s, this is a lot to ask.
Yes (+140)
No (-270)

Will there be overtime?

Only one previous Big Game has extended beyond four quarters.  That was in 2017, when Tom Brady famously led the Patriots back from a 28-3 third quarter deficit against the Falcons, tied the game in regulation, and won it in overtime.
Yes (+350)
No (-375)

Will San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan blow another 28-3 lead in the third quarter? Shanahan was offensive coordinator of the Falcons in their unprecedented Big Game meltdown against the Patriots. His play calling was widely criticized and largely blamed for Atlanta’s historic collapse.
(Yes +50)
(No -2000)

PROP BETS WE’D LIKE TO SEE

Will a player injure himself in celebration and be unable to continue?

This would be a first in Big Game history, which explains the low odds. Injury owing to excessive celebration, though rare, isn’t unheard of. In a regular season game in 2001, an excitable Arizona kicker injured himself when, after converting a field goal, he jumped for joy and blew out his knee on the landing.
Yes (-400)
No (+120)

Will the referee tossing the coin to determine who gets the ball first mistakenly call tails if it lands heads or vice versa?

This actually happened during a regular season Thanksgiving Day game a number of years ago. What will it be next, reviewing the coin toss?
Yes (+500)
No (-400)

With engaging onsite activities, year-round aquatic attractions and spacious guest rooms featuring full kitchens and private bedrooms, Tahiti Village Resort & Spa is a popular choice of families looking for fun in Las Vegas. Although the busy summer season finds our Tahiti Village tropical beach pool and lazy river at their splish-splashiest, some families prefer to visit during the quiet and comparatively mild winter. One such family is the Lanes, from Wisconsin, who spent a portion of their Thanksgiving visit to Las Vegas at Tahiti Village.

“We decided to run away from Thanksgiving this past year. Las Vegas, the sun and warmth, sounded like a great idea,” Jessica Lane blogged on her Memory Lane Photography website. “SO many people said, `Why Las Vegas?!?’ or `That’s not a very family friendly location!’ I had to laugh. Don’t get me wrong, Las Vegas is crazy and wild. But when you are a mom to four, we go to bed by 9pm. We miss all that craziness.”

Jessica, a commercial photographer specializing in weddings and lifestyle photography, enjoyed several days of fun at family friendly Tahiti Village Resort & Spa with her husband and four boys.

“We were impressed with the hotel and our stay,” she wrote. “I loved being surrounded by palm trees and Palapas. The landscape was beautiful.”

Our year-round aquatic attractions and new Tiki Cove Arcade were also a hit with the Lanes, as they were with readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal who voted Tahiti Village the Best Family Friendly Pool and Best Family Friendly Hotel in the last year’s Best of Las Vegas contest.
