Tahiti Village now has two drinks to call our own!

Tahiti Village Resort Las Vegas official drinksA delicious new drink made from a secret Bacardi recipe and an old favorite reimagined by our bar staff have become the official drinks of Tahiti Village, Las Vegas’ favorite tropical resort. Just in time for your summer imbibing pleasure, we are pleased to introduce the subtly sweet Tahitian Sunset and the zingy zesty Tahitian Mary.

TAHITIAN SUNSET

Our partnership with Bacardi has resulted in a drink that captures the tropical essence of Tahiti Village. When you order the Tahitian Sunset, you’re essentially getting Tahiti Village in a glass. Featuring refreshing Bacardi Lime rum and a mix of proprietary ingredients, the Tahitian Sunset is the perfect drink to enjoy by the pool, at the lazy river, on your balcony – or anywhere!

TAHITIAN MARY

Five years in the making and overflowing with 10 delectable ingredients, the Tahitian Mary – our over-the-top take on the popular Bloody Mary – is more than a match for any Vegas hangover. Garnished with jalapeño peppers pickled in-house and flavored with homemade Bloody Mary mix, the Tahitian Mary will have you feeling like your old self in no time.

The brainchild of our intrepid bar staff at 17˚ South Booze & Bites, the Tahitian Mary is the T-Rex of its species. In addition to the aforementioned jalapeños, it contains house vodka, green olives, lime and lemon wedges, bread and butter pickles, a celery stick, tajin and – as a telling testament to its exquisite excess – bacon! How we manage to get it all in the stylishly salted glass is beyond us.

With its ample spice notes, the Tahitian Mary isn’t a cocktail you would necessarily expect to find at tropical Tahiti Village. All we know is this: you’ll be happy you did!

Be sure to try the Tahitian Sunset or the Tahitian Mary on your next visit to Tahiti Village. Or better yet, both!

Two Social Hours in one day will make you twice as happy!
Two Social Hours in one day will make you twice as happy!

A new menu with a focus on fresh and an additional late night “social” hour give you even more reasons to try 17˚ South Booze & Bites on your next visit.

Under the leadership of new food and beverage director Nader Mossavi, general manager Dean Spinelli and executive chef Jason Diaz, we have remade the menu to reflect our commitment to freshly prepared ingredients.

The menu also signifies our move away from sports bar offerings in favor of delicious pub style fare you are sure to love. It is comprised largely of new entrees or existing items reimagined, including:

Calamari dusted with parmesan cheese and lemon aioli
Chicken wings tossed in our signature sauce
Nachos with house-made cheese sauce
Pub sliders
Steak frites
Chicken penne pasta with sundried tomatoes and cremini mushrooms
Atlantic salmon filet (flown in, not frozen)
Fish and chips with a newly created batter
White pizza with herbed garlic oil and grilled chicken
The “porker” slow-cooked barbecue pork sandwich

For you night owls, we have implemented our first late night social hour from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. You’ll enjoy specialty drinks, domestic and imported draft beer, and a select appetizer menu all at special social hour pricing. Want to get social sooner? Join us for our afternoon social hour from 2-5 p.m. daily. We’re offering the same great food and drink specials.

The new menu and Social Hours go into effect on Sept. 1. (That’s tomorrow if you’re reading this today and today if you’re reading Sept. 1.) We hope to see you here! We are located in the Tahiti Village main lobby.

17˚ South Booze & Bites Celebrates Its Third Anniversary! Enjoy great food and drink specials June 14-17.

“A great place to grab a bite, relax with a drink, and watch a game in a peaceful tropical environment.”

That’s how we described 17˚ South Booze & Bites before its June 2014 grand opening. Three years later, we’re happy to say it is still all those things. Tahiti Village’s stylish bar and bistro is going stronger than ever, and we are delighted by the great response it has received in the ensuing thirty-six months.

Although the original menu has changed since the grand opening, it still offers an array of mouthwatering appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and main courses. We hope you’ll forgive us for all the delicious decisions.

Likewise, our draft beer selection is still flush with tasty selections and flows like liquid gold from more than 20 tap handles. The 17˚ South Honey Brown Lager in particular draws many rave reviews.

Evoking a tropical theme without tiki motif, the open and airy 10,000-square foot space has indoor seating for 64 and outdoor seating for 48, a bank of 10 flat-screen televisions that display crystal clear color images on enviable widescreens both indoors and out, and – since we are in Las Vegas – a row of gaming machines inviting you to try your luck.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped make our first three years a great success. We look forward to many more and invite you to join us from 6-8 p.m. June 14-17 for complimentary appetizers and great drink specials!

Enjoy great food and drink specials during March Madness and over St. Paddy’s Day weekend at 17˚ South Booze & Bites!

The arrival of March brings with it two special events, March Madness and St. Patrick’s Day, a party-inducing pair that leads us out of the winter doldrums into the promise of spring.

Here at 17˚ South Booze & Bites, we’re celebrating the season with great food and drink specials over St. Patrick’s Day weekend and throughout the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

During March Madness you’ll enjoy $3, $4 and $5 draft beer selections and $6 food specials during all the basketball games. Over the St. Paddy’s Day weekend beginning Friday, March 17, we’re getting our Irish up with $5 Guinness drafts and $6 shots of Jameson!

Join us for all the March fun at 17˚ South, onsite at Tahiti Village!

Mouthwatering selections await you on the new 17˚ South Booze & Bites menu!

Our menu features an array of tempting new taste treats, including Kahlua pig and spring rolls!

If you’re one of those people who respond like Pavlov’s dog to the inclusion of “housemade beer cheese sauce” and “smoked burnt rib ends” on a menu, you’re going to love the new selections at 17˚ South Booze & Bites, the stylish onsite bar and bistro at Tahiti Village.

As we prepare for our third anniversary this summer, we’ve updated our menu ahead of the big birthday celebration with enticing appetizers, satisfying burgers and sandwiches, and entrees that are sure to sound the dinner bell.

Open for goodness!
Open for goodness!

Wringing every ounce of inspiration from his years of crafting delectable culinary concoctions, our executive chef created an array of familiar favorites spiced with delicious twists.

Take our calamari. In its usual state of deep fried rings and still-attached tentacles, it is an appetizer staple on menus all over the country. Meh, right? But at 17˚ South, we zing your expectations with a kung pao kick!

Mac and cheese? Who doesn’t like mac and cheese? Except we do it dirty, with those aforementioned smoked burnt rib ends commingling delicious char with all that heavenly cheese.

And speaking of heavenly cheese, we can’t wait for you to try our wagyu sloppy joe nachos with – we repeat it here because we can’t say it enough – housemade beer cheese sauce! An extra tortilla chip for telling us what wagyu is without  a Google assist.

If all that goodness comes with too much guilt, you’ll be happy to know we have three salads to choose from: chopped, Caesar and mixed green.

If you can’t exist on lettuce alone, “let us” recommend a 17˚ South burger with smoked bacon and “fancy sauce.” Or a barbecue pork sandwich with Saigon-style pork. Or a sirloin steak sandwich with provolone cheese and horsey cream. Or a stack of specialty pizzas. Or a lineup of mouthwatering entrees that will have you coming back every night of your visit.

We look forward to satisfying all your culinary cravings!

Know how you can tell things are heating up in Vegas? We’ve opened our poolside tiki bars for the summer!

Renee, our friendly poolside bartender, will be happy to mix you a specialty cocktail (there's 10 on the menu!), pop open a beer (there's 10 on the menu!) or pour you a glass of chardonnay, cabernet or merlot.

With Las Vegas temperatures creeping into the 70s this week and visitors beginning to flock to our aquatic attractions like competitive eaters to an endless buffet, we thought, `Ah, what the heck. Let’s open the poolside tiki bars for the summer. In March!’

So that’s what we’ve done, opened the Sand Box in the main pool area and the bar inside the lazy river, appropriately called the Lazy River Bar. As usual, they contain a tempting selection of beer, wine, and tropical drink type thingies for you to enjoy while you’re relaxing in the sunshine and contemplating your next move.

And speaking of your next move – will it be a relaxing trip down the Lazy River? A soothing soak in the adult hot tub? Or what about another cold one as you soak in the rays and enjoy the lush scenery around our tropical beach pool? You have a lot of choices at Tahiti Village, and we invite you to try them all as get ready for another wonderful summer season!

We hope to see you here!
