When you want the job done right, you call in the Marines. So when we were searching for a charity to pick up and distribute Christmas toys to  needy Las Vegas children, we couldn’t think of a better choice than Toys for Tots.

Founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks, a U.S. Marine Corps Reservist, the not-for-profit charity collects new, unwrapped toys from local businesses every holiday season.

We thank the U.S. Marine Corps Reservists for their generosity.
We thank the U.S. Marine Corps Reservists for their generosity and charitable spirit.

This year at Tahiti Village we are proud to say the Marines had their hands full.

Employees from Tahiti Village and our affiliated resorts and companies donated approximately 600 gifts for children who would otherwise not have a present to open.

Sgt. Kyle Abreu, Sgt. David Johnson and Lance Cpl. Tyrone Baker stormed the main lobby on Dec. 14 and filled numerous deep boxes to the brim with presents from around our Christmas tree. The presents are dropped off at a distribution center for parents to pick up and bring home.

We would like to thank our employees for their generosity and the Marine reservists for their service to the country and the less fortunate children of Southern Nevada.
