Since first opening our doors to owners in 2006, Tahiti Village has set a standard in Las Vegas for vacation ownership resort amenities with our 350,000 gallon beach entry pool, ¼ mile Lazy River, and restaurant and bar amenities. Recently Somerpointe Resorts announced its newest improvement to Tahiti Village with the remodel of our famous 42,000- square foot lobby. The renovation is underway and will include a brand new restaurant concept, convenient grab and go food options, an expanded retail and grocery and a new fully updated bar and lounge. Also accompanying the lobby facelift will be improvements to the main pool bar and new outdoor seating overlooking the beach entry pool and Tahitian waterfalls.

“We are thrilled to bring these exciting new amenities and energy into what is already a first class lobby experience” says Rick Dumas, Director of Hospitality for Somerpointe Resorts. Mr. Dumas continued, “The investments being made by Somerpointe in the lobby experience and food and beverage amenities onsite will continue to enhance and solidify Tahiti Village’s already extraordinary amenities. We believe these additions will be a welcomed improvement to the property, our owners and their guests.”

The new restaurant and bar design will embrace the resort’s tropical theme, offering an indoor / outdoor feel that incorporates the magic of the islands with the excitement of Las Vegas. The addition of new outdoor deck space will allow guests to enjoy a quiet meal or tropical cocktail over the sounds of waterfalls and fiery glow of Tiki torches or come inside to enjoy friends, music and ice cold beers on tap.

The restaurant menu will focus on traditional American cuisine and will serve the expanded and renovated “Sand Bar” at the main pool, allowing guests the option to enjoy a fresh and juicy hamburger indoors or a tasty sandwich poolside. The lobby bar will allow for live entertainment, limited gaming and several flat screen televisions perfect for watching the day’s best sporting events.

The existing Wiki Wiki convenience store will be relocated and expanded to feature a new coffee bar serving Starbucks coffee, freshly baked pastries, grab and go sandwiches options, frozen desserts and expanded grocery items. All construction and renovations are scheduled for completion this May.

With all that is new and exciting, we will be saying goodbye to Tahiti Joe’s restaurant. During the construction we hope that you pardon our dust and the inconvenience while we bring you a brighter and better tomorrow.

The existing bar at Tahiti Joe’s, located on the second floor of the Denny’s building, will remain open during construction with live gaming action, a limited food menu and your favorite spirits from 11am-2am daily. 21+

We look forward to seeing you!
