Tahiti Village Resort Las Vegas

The first luau of 2013 got underway at a new venue on a new night, to the benefit of both. More than 150 people descended on the Island Courtyard this past Sunday night, and if they had any apprehensions that our popular summer event wasn’t still poolside on Saturday, their worries were quickly allayed. Attendees enjoyed an island buffet with three entrees (one more than in previous years) and authentic Polynesian-style entertainment from Hot Lava, whose revved-up show was easily visible thanks to the Island Courtyard’s cozy confines. The updated menu consisted of pulled pork, marinated grilled chicken, a shrimp stir fry, white rice, two kinds of salad (fruit and macaroni), coconut cake and free lemonade and island punch. The Hot Lava band entertained during dinner with a repertoire of island favorites and a surplus of witty repartee. The trio then lent its support to the group’s lovely hula girls and tribal warriors, bantering with the audience between dances and the amazing fire ritual.  It was a great evening of food and entertainment in what promises to be the best luau season yet. Don’t miss it on your next visit. VIP and general admission tickets are available for purchase in advance or on the day of the show. Please see the concierge.  For more information click on the above photos to be directed the luau page on our website. We hope you have a great summer and look forward to seeing you soon!
