This is the one time of year when it’s advisable to put all your eggs in one basket – and the more the merrier.

This is certainly true if you’re a child and planning to participate in our annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday, when intrepid hunter-gatherers will fill their baskets from a bounty of more than 3,000 plastic candy-filled eggs hidden inside the Lazy River.

“The Easter egg hunt is a highly anticipated event,” Tahiti Village activities director Britny Flores said. “We look forward to hiding the eggs almost as much as the kids like finding them.”

Participants will meet at 9 a.m. inside the Island Courtyard for the start of the hunt and return for games, face painting, Easter crafts, a prize drawing, live music and photos with an inflatable bunny.

This is a great activity for the entire family.
