Τhe annual Easter egg grab, the most anticipated event on our spring activity calendar, attracted upwards of 200 youngsters this past Saturday to the Lazy River, where they filled waiting baskets with plastic candy-filled eggs. The colorful bounty was hidden under lounge chairs and in the lush green foliage of the hunting grounds. The latter proved no impediment whatsoever to these ravenous collectors, who waded into the thick jungle to gather the treasure. The eggs, according to Tahiti Village activities manager Britny Flores, contained such Easter candy as Sweet Tarts, Starburst and Nerds. No wonder they were in such demand. The event ended with challenging prize contests and a raffle for Easter baskets and gift certificates to Tahiti Joe’s. It was a great conclusion to a fun day for the kids and their parents.

My Granddaughter, Arabella Samonte, 3 years old, is the second one from the left. She is 3 years old. Her brother, Kaeden Samonte, 8 years old, both participated in the egg hunt. Arabella won one of the raffle prizes! They had a very fun time and we were very happy to be apart of this Easter celebration. We have been here 3 times during spring vacation since we purchased at Tahiti Village in 2006 and it has become a family tradition that we all look forward to!!!

  • Arabella is as cute as they come, Cindy. We are glad she and Kaeden enjoyed the hunt, and we congratulate her on winning the Easter basket.Thank you for making our Easter celebration a family tradition. We are glad you enjoy your time with us and look forward to seeing you again next year. Thank you for writing.
